Correction to carb-loading days

So… I have apparently been doing this carb loading two days wrong. I’m NOT supposed to eat simple sugars (as I do on my re-feed days), but wholesome, low glycemic ones like oatmeal, rice, potatoes, and whole wheat pasta. When my body is back to normal,  I will try again – perhaps at the end of next week.  I will do 10 grams per kilo of body weight the first day, then 8 grams per kilo of body weight the second day.

But now I’m off to bed, preparing to get up at 4 am for my flight to sunny California! Let’s see how I do next week before I plan any carb loading, huh??  I also just realized that our day begins at 7:30am every morning with no break until we finish at night around 10 pm.  That means I will have to get up at 4:30am every morning for the gym. I can do it!! Wish me luck!!
